Navigation Issues

Good navigation keeps every Upliffting trip smooth and stress-free. If the app guides you toward the wrong street, incorrect turns, or outdated roads, you can help us fix it. Sharing what you see on the road helps improve routing for every driver.

How to share a navigation problem

If the directions don’t match real-world roads, you can report it by:

  1. Opening the Map Feedback Tool
  2. Dropping a pin or typing the location
  3. Picking the type of issue
  4. Writing a short explanation
  5. Adding a photo if you have one
  6. Sending your report through the tool

When the app suggests a turn you can’t take

Sometimes the app may show a turn that is blocked, restricted, or simply not allowed.

What we need to know:

  • The exact intersection
  • Why the turn isn’t possible
  • Photos of signs or barriers (if you can take them)

When the road direction is shown incorrectly

If a street is marked the wrong way—like the app showing two-way traffic where it’s actually one-way—routes can become confusing.

What to include:

  • Name of the street
  • The real direction vehicles should travel
  • Photos showing signs or markings

When private or limited-access roads show as public

Some areas can only be entered with permission, codes, or at certain hours. If the app guides drivers somewhere that requires special access, report it.

Please share:

  • The road location
  • What type of restriction it has
  • A photo of the gate, sign, or entry point

When a road exists but doesn’t appear on the map

New roads or lanes might not show up yet, which can make routes unclear.

Tell us:

  • The road name
  • What nearby roads it connects to
  • A clear photo of the roadway

When a road is shown as blocked but it isn’t.

If the map says a road is closed but it’s not, it can cause unnecessary detours.

Helpful details:

  • Road name and location
  • Confirmation that the road is open
  • A photo showing the clear path

When the app avoids a turn that is allowed

If the navigation refuses a turn that is legally permitted, let us know so the map can be corrected.

Include:

  • Intersection details
  • Why the turn should be allowed
  • Any photos showing there are no restrictions

Other navigation problems

If the issue doesn’t fall into any of the above categories , you can still report it.

It helps to share:

  • A simple explanation
  • The exact spot on the map
  • Any extra context or photos
