Emergency Contacts

Your safety is something we greatly care about here at upliffting and having an emergency contact adds an extra layer of care when it’s needed most, someone who we can call and inform in case something happens.

When Would We Reach Out?

Our first move will be to reach you if there is an emergency during the trip. We may also call one of your emergency contacts that you have provided if in case we cannot reach you and we want to inform someone you trust about what’s going on.

Why We May Call Them

If we contact your emergency person, it may be to:

  • Gather helpful details about the situation
  • Share important information about what happened
  • Make sure you’re getting the support you need

Situations Considered Emergencies

While rare, emergencies may include serious incidents such as:

  • Severe injuries
  • Medical situations requiring an ambulance
  • Hospital admissions
  • Life-threatening events

How Emergency Contacts Work

You can add multiple emergency contacts to your account. If needed, we’ll try reaching out to the two most recently added contacts. Once we successfully connect with one, we won’t contact the other.

We hope you never need this feature, but we’re glad it’s there just in case.
